Pup Daisy and her beau Tony Romo were on hand backstage yesterday to lend some support after Jessica Simpson finished her first live performance in 3 years debuting music from her forthcoming country album at the 16th Annual Country Thunder USA in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
Attempting to chip away at the country music faithful, the former pop and reality TV star’s set was sandwiched between American Idol reject Kellie Pickler and Dancing with the Stars alum Sara Evans.
Once Jessica hit the stage, she declared: “I don’t know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I’m just a girl from Texas; I’m just like you. I’m doing what I love and dating a boy.”
And it doesn’t sound like Miss Simpson is treating country music like a momentary diversion; before exiting the stage she announced she has no plans to produce a pop album again.

They are genuinely happy as long as Jessica includes tony in their decisions they will last.

I think she was surprised by all the booing. Voice is not as strong as recordings.

she was on my flight from burbank to dallas on july 3rd. ive always found her pretty but in person she is no prettier than the head cheerleader in high school really. she had a ton of oily makeup on and her skin was really bad, not to mention HUGE bags under her eyes. poor girl. She looked like she needed a nap and people on the plane (i was three seats away from her) would not leave her alone. It got to the point where the stewardess had to make an announcement asking people to stay in their own cabins. If i was in her situation i would have had the 4 “drinks” she had too lol.

She is looking gorgeous here!! She kind of lost her appeal for a while there, but she’s back looking better than ever. Her roots are kind of bad though… I think she’s found her niche with country music, hopefully she will be successful.

I really don’t find it funny that people would boo her? It’s kind of sad actually, pathetic. Unless you are perfect, you don’t have that right. I think that she looks stunning in these pics. Of course she is wearing makeup but she looks really fresh faced and sweet. As far as the roots, I didnt’ think they looked that bad. For some reason she can get away with it. I just find her cute and down to earth. SHe really can be normal and I think the dumbness was more of an act than anything.

At least she looks cute again; like her old self. She really goes need to just give it up, though. I don’t think country will embrace her any more than the pop world. Her music always sucks. And she is SO immature. ‘I’m dating a boy’??????? Grow up, bitch. You’re 28 yrs old for pete’s sake.
