Barbara Walters “had an exclusive conversation via telephone with Paris Hilton on Sunday afternoon,” according to an internal ABC memo circulated Sunday.
Paris, who will finish her sentence in the medical ward of a downtown detention facility, tells Babs, “was a horrible experience… I felt as if I was in a cage.”
The Hollywood outlaw also realizes that she has to clean up her act: “I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. … God has given me this new chance.”
Miss Walters will dish even more on ‘The View’ today. (That snoozer of a show clearly needs some must-see TV following Rosie O’Donnell’s departure.)
Meanwhile, Paris’ younger sis Nicky and on-again, off-again bf Stavros Niarchos visited the Twin Towers detention centre over the weekend.
She’s being strong,” Nicky said as she walked out of the jail.
Paris is allowed visitors only two days a week, yet her parents, Kathy and Rick, were yesterday seen going to church instead - perhaps to pray for their wayward daughter.

That she actually thought her ‘acting dumb’ was ”cute”!!! And even if she decides to show a lil more of her so-called hidden intellect..there are more reasons why she’s so hated.For one..her total lack of social consciousness,her lack of respect for people of other races and those less fortunate than her,her lack of empathy for other people’s misery,her hedonistic lifestle minus the responsiblity that comes with it,her embarassingly narcisistic views of her own importance.She’s not only clueless…she’s just a downright waste of space.And i dont even know if jail is gonna do anything to change her attitude.For one..her good-for-nothing parents who brought her up this way will be there to shower her with all the comforts in the world to make up for jail time.

You look like a bird……I agree that she should suffer for the next 2 weeks by NOT REPORTING on her. THAT would be even worse than the “cage” for her.

no, they went to see her in jail together.. don’t forget.. Paris is the one with no class, not Nicky.. which brings me to a point… everyone is blaming Paris’ parents for not instilling values in her.. Nicky doesn’t act that way and SHE’s the baby… Paris is just a self centered, self absorbed stupid bitch! I know girls with NO money who act the same way, think the world should bow to them… but have no damn social awareness nor do they care for that matter…
