ABC has posted an excerpt from Life With My Sister Madonna.
Despite her estranged brother Christopher Ciccone’s clear intention to destroy her, his close view of the Material Girl’s jogging, gargling and sleepless nights is interesting to say the least.

The royal we, so fitting for a woman who is sometimes a royal pain in my ass. Although Buckingham Palace, the queen of England’s residence, is just across the road, in my estimation and that of millions of fans, she is the real queen of the universe—Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, my elder sister by twenty-seven months, who, just eleven years after the release of her first record, is now one of the most famous women in the world.
“I eat an orange. No big English breakfast for me, no matter how much I like it. Otherwise, I’ll probably throw up when Madonna and I take our scheduled six-mile jog at eleven. Just as we did yesterday, just as we will do tomorrow—and on every other day during the tour.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Good Morning America today, the vexed brother characterized Madge’s hubby Guy Ritchie as a homophobe who destroyed his close relationship with his sister.
He added that his “controlling” star sister is beginning to “crack” under the pressure of turning 50 and is struggling to maintain her image.

There is no celebrity who owes more of their success to the gay community than Madonna. I wonder that all her gay fans would think of her being married to a homophobe? And is her marriage why she no longer does much charity work for AIDS?

I read some excepts of his book the other day. I can believe it. Though, If her she and her brother were estranged before– this will undoubtedly be the final nail in the coffin. One complaint: from what I’ve read, her brother seems to love to play the part of the victim too much. I’m no fan of Madge, but come on– a little less whining por favor.

No I definately won’t be buying it, because I don’t beleive in family members selling out other family members. It’s just wrong and an extreme invasion of privacy. You should be able to trust your family.
you reap what you sow in life. Madonna has to understand where this is coming from. . you cannot control everything and everyone. When people are hurt and angry, they will strike. Not everyone can turn the other cheek. sometimes that will includ. family. Regardless of who she is, she is still part of a universe of humans with issues that involve life. She should not be surprised. She should however go to her brother and say i’m sorry. But only for her part . He now has to understand, he also will reap what he has sowed. It has been said you tend to hurt the ones you love most in life. This is a perfect example. He also will need to forgive and say I’m sorry.
Holy shit, I just read the excerpt (thanks, Aysla), and have totally changed my mind about reading this. What an outrageously biased piece of trash. It makes me laugh — this is his own fucking account and he *still* comes off as a entitled, self-centred, leech. Someone also needs to tell him that the words “twee” and “mincey” are not gay slurs.
It seems her brother has had a coke and drinking problem for years so this is hs attempt at getting more money again (since he can’t depend on his sister anymore!) so he can keep getting trashed and hitting on young gay guys at clubs.
I do think that he saw a lot of her bad times, but to write a book about it is just wrong. The things people will stoop to for money.
