Prior to bringing some of her razzmatazz to today’s Isle Of Wight Festival, it was a casually (ok, barely) dressed and makeup-free Amy Winehouse who stepped out of her gated London home to take out the trash.
Rocking a stained off-the-shoulder top, stained short-shorts and even more stained flats, the British songbird left onlookers wondering whether she went dumpster diving prior to tending to her chores. In fact, the only thing that appeared clean and washed was Amy’s fresh face, which was lacking her trademark eyeliner and mole piercing.

She looks really different without the eyeliner, a lot better! She needs a major makeover this girl to make her look a bit more human and less halloween costume gone wrong/junkie. The bird’s nest hair needs to go as does the long fingernails. And putting on a few pounds wouldn’t hurt her at all. Too bad about the tattoos, they really make her look rough. I guess nobody could accuse her of not having an original look!
what people don’t mention is that she is taking out her own trash…who gets glammed out for that?? she also cleans her own house…i saw on some blog [sorry i read a lot of them] where she spilled a drink in a store and SHE cleaned it up…give her some credit…
she does look better without the nest of hair and eye liner…maybe her husband will feed her some food too….she’s too thin….but i love her voice…she is very talented…

I honestly thought the eyeliner was tattood on! But she looks good / better without it!
Of course she has great talent but as far as the eyeliner, she looks better without it. i agree, she does have potenial to be pretty but she ruined her body by getting all those odd tattos.
She’s less ugly without that stupid makeup, but still not hot.

I loooove her music, and she is a VERY talented young woman. That said, I still think she has some deep seeded issues that she needs to take care of. Obviously she is unhappy and unstable, but maybe that’s what inspires her to write the amazing lyrics. Either way, I hope there is a way for her to have a healthier life stayle, while still staying creative.
I think all “creative geniuses” are tormented in some way.
Chris Cornell, Fiona Apple, Amy (my fav’s of the times) ……they all have dark lyrics, and their music is raw emotions………..25 minutes until Sopranos!!!!! (Thank God for HBO East!LOL)

I googled her over the weekend and saw pictures of what she used to look like. Absolutely unbelievable! She actually used to be a nice size and was quite a girlie-girl. Nice hair, no tats, no heavy makeup; totally different person. Wow is all I could say. But I love her.
PSL I agree with the “I think all ‘creative geniuses’ are tormented in some way… what I think is funny though is that… as long as a person uses music, comedy, art or acting as a creative outlet.. then it’s ok for them to be train wrecks… if they don’t do these things or don’t do them to anyone’s standards, then they are … ummm… Lindsay Lohan… a little fickle don’t you all think?
BTW.. she does look much better in this pic and totall much better in her old pictures.
