Get your cowboy boots out cuz Jessica Simpson’s country album is due out September 9!
“It’s going to be a great year,” said Papa Joe Simpson Thursday at a taping in Hollywood of Pete Wentz’s new show F’N MTV. The video for Come on Over, her first single, debuts on her website Saturday.
Joe says the heartland of America is where his daughter belongs. “We forget on the East and West coasts that there is a whole country in between,” Joe said. “That’s our home, and that’s Jessica’s home.”
That begs the question: Does Jessica have a home in your heart?

In other words what Papa Joe means is, Jessica’s pop music career is over because her music sucks, so now they are going to try and pawn her off to country music fans. She is so dunzo!
She’s dressed like a fat country bumpkin. This is a tiny girl with awesome hair. Why is her stylist making her look like trailer trash? Will they black out some of her teeth next? Nothing like feeding the stereotypes.

i dont like country music, but from the people that i know that do, say she is good at it and that is her nitch in the music world.

She’d be more believeable as a country artist if she’d worn cowboy hats and boots all along. Now we’re supposed to buy this mess….
so is she changing her style to country because she’s making a country album? just like the way she changed her hair color for someone else. she is whack, i can’t beleive how famous and rich she is and has no talent. dahm midget.

SO there is more “music” lovers in cowboy music, than in actual trendy music.
Not that Pop music is better than Country…it is just a different set of challenges:
one deals with trends another with keeping the status quo undisturbed.

Wait a minute! Papa Joe expects us to believe he had this epiphany about middle America? That he completely forgot it existed? Yeah, riiight. Seems to me he was more than happy to leave middle America behind for the glitz of Hollywood. He wanted this lifestyle. And I’m sure this has nothing to do with the fact Jessica’s albums just don’t sell in the mainstream markets. Nothing at all.

How great is her body looking?? Seriously I think she’s been working really hard to look great for her upcoming albun. This is the best she’s looked in ages. Her legs are hot! I’m not a big country music fan but I think she could do really well for herself if she plays her cards right. There seems to be a big market for country/pop kind of singers like Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill and look at how successful Shania Twain was back in the day.
