Kelly Ripa ran in the High Heel-a-Thon in Central Park to benefit the March of Dimes.
The event was sponsered by Dr. Scholls and each contestant had to run the race in high heel shoes. The race was broadcast live on Regis and Kelly.
Host Regis Philbin, Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos, and Cameron Matheson of All My Children were on hand to show their support.

That’s such a fun idea, but I wonder how many sprained ankles there were? Kelly looks fantastic and I’m sure running a marathon wearing any kind of footwear would be a cinch for her. She’s soooo fit!

I saw the Regis and Kelly episode where Kelly first mentioned this a few months back. Their is a annual stiletto marathon somewhere in Europe and Kelly was adamant that she could run one, so they decided to do one for charity.
I think Kelly and Mark are the most in-shape celeb couple….not an ounce of fat on her!!
Mark ran the same disatnce this morning against yesterdays winner and he won…sexily…
