David Duchovny gets candid in the July 14 issue of TV Guide (on newsstands Thursday) about reuniting on the screen with Gillian Anderson in The X Files: I Want To Believe (opening July 25).
David on admiting that the X-Files reunion was “sentimental” for him: “I realized that Gillian and I have changed over the years, but when you start reading these people, they haven’t. They are the same and they feel the same way about each other.â€David on showing some skin on the big screen: “There’s definitely some skin in this movie. And not all of it is being flayed or ripped apart. There’s some Gillian skin, and some of mine.â€
Producer-writer Frank Spotnitz on the plotline: “The emotional story of Mulder and Scully is really the heart of the movie. It’s about their love story.â€

Every magazine photo in this country is airbrushed. That picture doesn’t look any more airbrushed than any others. They both look pretty good to me. I loved the X-Files. I hope the movie doesn’t suck.
