Nicole Kidman and country crooner Keith Urban welcomed a daughter this morning in Nashville, TN!!

This is the first child together for 41-year-old Nicole and her 40-year-old hubby.

Nicole has two other children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise: 15-year-old Isabella and 13-year-old Connor.

The name of Nicole’s new bundle of joy is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban.

Says Urban on his site: “We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”

Congratulations to the happy couple. Our thoughts on the name?

    ^^^because Wednesday was already taken?

Seriously, though–who knows why they picked Sunday? It’s on the same level as Apple.

  8. Junkie Says:

I have a neighbour named Sunday and she’s 50 something so it must be an old fashioned type of name. I’m not crazy about the name but I’m sure it will be shortened to Sunny which doesn’t sound nearly as bad.

Her baby will be called Sundie in Australia!

    LOVE the name, so pretty.

  11. Krissa Says:

I think it will be like Apple - that name has really grown on me and I think it’s quite endearing. Apple Martin totally suits her name.
No different than Tuesday Weld, January Jones, Wednesday Addams…

  12. EAT IT Says:

i like the name, but i’m into different names.
it would’ve been cuter if the baby was born on sunday also.

  13. Joe Says:

It’s more like a title of a book rather than a name. I don’t like it.

  14. Agustina Says:

Congrats to Nicole and Keith! I like the name.
