Amid days of rumours and gossip, father extradonaire Carlos Leon dropped into Madonna’s Upper West Side apartment in New York City yesterday to offer his daughter Lourdes an escape from the glare of the spotlight.
Joined by Lourdes’ best pal, the happy trio made a hand-holding chain as they enjoyed a day filled with shopping and sight-seeing in the Big Apple.
Meanwhile, clad in Yankees gear from head to toe, Madonna’s son Rocco Richie was spotted hopping into an SUV en route to the big game.
As for the latest on the Madge/Alex Rodriguez? A source tells Us Weekly that “she doesn’t believe they are just friends.” Adding: “Something deeply suspicious is happening. [Alex's wife] Cynthia did leave because she is sure this is all true.”
Madge has long denied the accusations while A-Rod has remained mum.

This must be a really hard time for these kids. I think that they probably don’t feel much of a motherly presence with Madonna anyway as she seems like the type of person that wouldn’t see her kids while she’s working on her albums and career. Lourdes looks sweet here, she’s going to grow up to be very beautiful.
I like what a good guy Carlos seems to be, seems humble and sane…what a rarity.
