Thomas Beatie, a.k.a. the ‘pregnant man’, has given birth to a baby girl!
As you may recall Beatie, a former woman, defended his decision to have a baby, saying he has a “right to have a biological child.”
Despite removing his breasts and legally having his gender changed from female to male, Beatie kept his female sex organs intact in hopes of having a child some day.
After years of struggling with his sexual identity and deciding to live as a man, he did the most womanly thing possible.
Congratulations to the happy family. Good luck explaining this one!

Franky Baby - Beattie was artificially inseminated. The reason his ‘wife’ didn’t have the baby is because she had had a hysterectomy a few years before the couple were ‘married’.

This is not going to be a good thing for this kid….Man do I ever see TONS of mental therapy in the future.
I hope SHE is enjoying all the money SHE made trying to sensationalize what happens hundreds of thousands of times every single freaking day: a WOMAN had a baby.
I don’t care what she calls herself, I don’t care what she’s had chopped off, I don’t care what hormones she’s taking, ‘Thomas’ is a WOMAN. I hope she saves all the money she made from her media blitz to pay for all the therapy that poor kid’s gonna need.
What just askin’ said x 2! A woman who lops off her breasts and sports a beard is still a woman. I still don’t understand how she can be legally considered a woman if she still has a uterus (a working uterus at that). If you want to become a man, fine, become one. Men don’t have babies.

It’s not ideal but from the kid’s point of view I’m sure it beats not being born.

Oh and its going to be really awkward when the kid brings pictures of her pregnant dad to school for show and tell.
I’m all for homosexual marriage and unconvential relationships, but this does not sit well with me at all. It’s not what society considers ‘normal’ at all, and until it ever does, life is going to be very difficult for that little girl. Sure she may accept the situation that she is in, but I’m guessing that her classmates will not. Maybe if her parents had kept it quiet it would be ok, but they have shamlessly got the media involved in this making it almost impossible for her to lead a normal life. What’s the bet every couple of years they do an update on this little girl? Basically they are a lesbian couple who are having kids, but one of them has been genetically modified to look more like a male….it’s very confusing for me, a 20 year old woman, how confusing is it going to be for a little girl?
I wonder is there any law that would protect this little girl from this strange situation, when she grows up she would certainly be a disturbed person, “who is dad? who is mom? how come my dad gives birth to me? how come dad was a woman before? are my parents just lisbians or whattttttt?”
Please take this girl and give her to a “normal caring family” to grow up healthy and sound in min.
