After having lunch with best pal Ken Paves and a few other friends, Jessica Simpson left a Santa Monica restaurant with one of her pal’s baby boys in her arms.
The blonde pop tart seemed to love playing the role of caretaker as she held him close and talked and smiled for him as they made their way to her awaiting car.
Looks like Jessica is practicing for being an aunt in the near future, or, who knows, maybe a mother herself!!

Ken Paves is looking more and more like Marc Anthony to me! I think Jessica has a bit of a point to prove about wanting kids. There were the rumors that Nick really wanted kids while she was more focused on her career and I think she’s trying to put that to rest. Her life could have been so different now had she stayed with Nick, I wonder if she’s happy with her decisions?
