She may have received widepread praise for her guest gig on How I Met Your Mother, but Britney Spears’ acting skills weren’t on par to land her a spot on the Emmy semi-finalist list in the Guest Actress on a Comedy Series category.
But worry, not Brit — you shouldn’t hang your head in shame. Fellow starlet Mary-Kate Olsen didn’t make the ballot for Weeds either.
Instead, it was a slew of guests on Desperate Housewives and 30 Rock who dominated the list.

People seem to put her down just because its the thing to do. I think she did really well on the show and the ratings proved that. She was funny and perfect for the character she played. If Sarah Silverman wins an Emmy I will die….she’s one of my least favourite people in the industry. Painful.
