Looking polished up and barely recognizable, Mary-Kate Olsen attends The Cinema Society and Sony Cierge screening of The Wackness at AMC Loews 19th Street in New York City on Wednesday.
In the Jonathan Levine-directed coming-of-age story, Sir Ben Kingsley plays a psychiatrist who trades therapy for marijuana with Josh Peck of Nickelodeon’s Drake and Josh. The Kingsley character’s marriage (to Famke Janssen) is falling apart, and he ends up flirting and then kissing Miss Olsen, who plays another of Peck’s regular drug buyers.
Sounds interesting to say the least!
Meanwhile, it looks like MK is taking a break from the fashion thing to work on her first love — acting! She’s currently filming a stint on Samantha Who? to air in the fall. She plays character whom Samantha (Christina Applegate) tries to “save.”
Of course, if you saw Mary-Kate tormenting Silas on Weeds last season, you know the girl has serious comedy chops!

She looks very pretty here. Not as grandma-ish as usual. She certainly has her own unique style but there’s a line between stylish and looking like a drunken mess. I love those last three pictures as well!
