Taking a break from following beau John Mayer’s every footstep, a solo Jennifer Aniston takes in the sights and sounds of Amsterdam during boat tour of the Dutch city.

As FYB first reported, Miss Aniston arrived in Amsterdam this week and is staying at the Grand Hotel. John arrived Sunday in Amsterdam for a concert and he’s shacking up at the Amstel hotel.

While in Amsterdam, Jen appeared with Owen Wilson and their Marley & Me director for a press conference in RAI conference center during the 2008 Cinema Expo.

No word on whether the happy couple got their smoke on while in Europe’s pot capital. Stay tuned.

But I will agree on the pot being legal.

  3. Meaghan Says:

I agree! Waaay safer then alcohol.

  4. She Rides A Harley™ Says:

Pot is more safer then any drug out today!
How many times have you heard about smoking a doobie, and go rob a store? - - Um never cuz they to stoned to move.
The worst thing that anyone can do on pot is eat themselves straight.
    Thats it.

most people in Amsterdam dont smoke or do drugs, it is a total misconception (by American people usually). Just because cigarettes are legal, doesnt mean every smokes tobacco. Just because alcohol is legal doesnt mean everyone drinks every night. Just because a car can go 110 doesnt mean you drive it at 110 everyday….. Amsterdam is a very nice city. I went there. It is ideal for bicycles. There is a whole bicycle culture and the canals make a very picturesque walk. It is a vibrant, old, eclectic culture. Cannabis is just as easily available in CA or London…it is just that the Dutch treat the situation with maturity and since it is repressed in other cultures, that repression becomes projected / released. Cannabis really has nothing more to with Amsterdam than Istanbul, Savannah GA or a walk in the Cotswolds.

Our fucking government has been taking some extremely patronizing decisions lately though.
If she feels like it she’d better be quick with the pot smoking, because from July 1st smoking will be banned in all Dutch bars, clubs, etc. Yes, coffeeshops too.

WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT THEY NEED TO BE TOGETHER AND WHERE ARE THE MILLION DOLLAR PHOTOS OF HIS CONCERT.. NONE.. AND WHERE IS OWEN WILSON….

OH YEA SHE DOESN’T SMOKE POT NOR DOES SHE WANT TO BE WITH JOHN MAYER… STRONG POINT SHE LEFT WITHOUT HIM.. NOR WERE THERE ANY PHOTOS OF THEM TOGETHER….

  10. Stephi Says:

Amsterdam really is a beautiful city. There’s a lot more to it than drugs and peepshows! I bet any money that Jen organised for that Marley and Me conference to be held as a bit of a cover for the fact that she’s there seeing John. All a little too convenient I think.

  11. anonymous Says:

    I LOVE JENNIFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  12. Noel Says:

Stephi - I doubt that, the press conference was part of a larger cinema industry gathering, so I’m sure that it was already set up regardless of Jen’s plans.

That’s just the way, LAURIE SMITH posts, ~~. She uses CAPITALIZATION to EMPHASIZE all the IMPORTANT points in her POSTS. IT’S ALL IMPORTANT, ALL THE TIME.

  14. EAT IT Says:

pot wouldn’t be such a big deal if it were legal. takes the “mystery” away. haha
amsterdam. beautiful place. lucky her that she’s there!

  15. ~~ Says:

Ah right snipe, I see. Because WHEN YOU HIGHLIGHT IT ALL IT ALL STANDS OUT, RIGHT?
