After keeping a relatively low profile in the French countryside with hubby actor Johnny Depp, French beauty Vanessa Paradis is ready for her close up.
Described as “yet another interpretation of the Miu Miu woman,” Prada unveiled its Fall 2008 campaign starring the 35-year-old model/singer. Miuccia Prada chose Vanessa because she has “certain powerful independence” and captures “the overlapping qualities of fragility and feminine strength.”

Her voice is great. Maybe you just don’t speak French? She has been in the business for 30 years. The French adore her. She is gorgeous, and multi-talented. Actually, she has been gaining a little weight lately. Some of you kids need to grow up. She is at ease inside her skin. Learn to do that and you will be fine. If you choose to be superficial, you will miss out on the true beauty in life and grow up to be real losers.
Her voice was great when she was 14 and is still great on certain types of songs. But you cannot whisper your way through anything that requires more than 1 1/2 octaves. No to mention, that women’s voices change just like mens. I could sound like I was 14 if I wanted to, but I prefer to sound like a grown woman, that can belt it, even if 4 octaves are required. (as long as you start the bottom on G)
As far as the engagement ring thing goes, there is a reason why people call the French rude, because trust me they are not ALL rude. Just the waiters, and the little girls and boys born to be snobs. Oh and I speak French.
