Taking a break from her good-girl-gone-bad gimmick, Rihanna went good-girl-gone-pretty as she hit up the 2008 BET Awards in Los Angeles tonight.
The Best Female R&B nominee and scheduled performer was a delcious delight in a yellow, multi-tiered Giambattista Valli gown.
Do we approve of Riri’s change of pace?

Wow! I really despise her, but she looks beautiful here! The lipstick is a tad purple, but the dress is a dream!

That dress is a little too “Gone with the Wind” for my tastes. Like a bad bridesmaid’s dress from the ’70’s. Not loving the makeup job, either–it’s too dark and heavy.

Somehow she manages to not let this look like a prom dress from the 70s. Not a lot of women could do that. Stunning. Girl, you are on!

The dress reminds me a little too much of one of those pajama dollies that you see at markets…does anyone know what I’m talking about?? Or the cake topper dolls. Too frilly. I think the color looks great on her though and the top part of it looks hot. I would have liked it better minus the frills on the skirt. I’m not too keen on her dark makeup here either.
