You can find out for yourself in the upcoming issue of Us Weekly as the daughter of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan opens up about the troubles her family has been facing.
Currently, her father and mother are in a pretty ugly divorce; her 48-year-old mother Linda is dating a 19-year-old named Charley Hill. Her brother Nick is serving an eight-month sentence for felony reckless driving. Meanwhile, Brooke is moving on with her career. The pop singer is hitting the small screen with her own reality show, Brooke Knows Best.
Brooke on her mother dating a teenager: “Honestly, I don’t know what to say because I can’t relate to her right now. I’m extremely shocked. I know if I was 48-years-old, I wouldn’t date a 19-year-old. I just don’t feel it’s her. And through all this stuff, I really need my mom, and she’s doing her own thing. I don’t talk to her anymore. I see her at the jail visiting Nick and she asks me why. I say, ‘I don’t condone what you’re doing. I’m on my path, and you’re on your path.’ I told her, ‘I’d love to have you in my life, to see you and talk to you, but the kind of things you’re surrounding yourself with, it doesn’t make sense to me.”Brooke on her parents’ split: “I could see my parents growing apart. I told them, ‘Nick and I are grown-up enough to understand that if it’s not right, don’t force yourself to be together for us.’ I don’t think the stress of Nick’s accident or being on Hogan Knows Best helped the situation, but they were already heading in that direction. It was starting to get painful for all of us. Sometimes all this makes me break down, but most of the time, I can look at it and think, we’re all still alive; we all still love each other. I just want to see them happy.”
Brooke on hearing about Nick’s accident: “I just went silent. Fifteen minutes later, I started having panic attacks: shaking, crying, freaking out….When I saw John in the hospital, it was just so hard. I couldn’t stop thinking about the last time I saw: He and Nick were just chilling on Clearwater Beach. I miss John like crazy. He ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with us six or seven days out of the week. And he was really funny, like a Jim Carrey sense of humour. He was as close as to my as my brother.”
Brooke on Nick in jail: “When he was sentenced, I was in shock. I’ve always been there to protect him, and this is the one time I can’t stop anything bad from happening. The thing that keeps me going is being able to visit him and see him through the TV screen. But that even sucks because I want to hug him and talk to him in person and see the colour of his eyes….He’s doing great now: He’s put weight back on– he lost 20 pounds in solitary. He’s getting his cleaning on ’cause that’s what his job is in jail: He’s a janitor! I tell him, ‘When you get out, we can go to the beach, we’ll eat your favourite foods, I’ll cook you dinners.’ I give him tangible things to think about.”
Brooke on coping: “I’ve been praying a lot and reading books that keep me positive: The Secret, The Power of Now, Harmonic Wealth. I tried therapy once, and after they tried to charge me 100 bucks for an hour, I was like, Screw this! My main therapy is talking to my friends. If I don’t let my emotions out, I will explode!”

I feel bad. I watched the show every once in a while and they seemed chill even with plastic surgery,peroxide and all. Its really unfortunate and it shows how quickly life can change. Sounds like she’s siding with ‘daddy’ because he has the cash and celebrity. It was him who had the affair that ultimately ended the marriage yet the dumb cow supports him over her own mother, just because she’s dating a 19 year old - which screams rebound tonic, and nothing more. What a pathetic excuse for a daughter, totally self-absorbed too.
I feel really sorry for this girl. She’s still only young and she’s going through so many huge things in her life right now, and in the spotlight it can’t be easy. I really respect all her answers to these questions as I feel like she is being completely honest here. She could have just as easily said that her family was all standing by one another and defended Nick’s position, but she didn’t. She obviously doesn’t agree with her mother’s lifestyle right now and I think she’s doing all she can in the position that she is in. I have a totally different perspective on her after reading this.
Man! What a fucking opportunist this desperate wannabe is! Has anything transpired in her personal life that she hasn’t tried to use to her utmost advantage? Anything? Instead of bemoaning her poor fate and circumstances, better that she get on her knees and thank them all for giving her so much press. Poor Brooke my ass! Did anyone listen to a recording of hulk talking to his son in prison? Hulk was promising him to get him his own reality show as soon as he gets out of jail. That kid hardly seems remorseful for what happened to their family friend.

Wow Brooke, its amazing how you fault your mother for the age of her new boyfriend thats sad, its her life you are of age now doing a lot of good things in your life, from what I have read, remember your DADDY! cheated on her and broke her heart. I have been cheated on before, and it is a lonely and painful feeling, why can’t a man just say its over, so a woman can heal and move on. What is wrong with her having someone to help get her through this(he is of legal age its not like she is molesting some little boy, he’s young but he is over 18) your dad has someone whom he was with while still with your mom. So if you are not going to talk to anybody it should be your DAD! or both, because men who cheat and they are married are clearly DOGS TO THE FULLIEST! But remember this Brooke you only have one mother and when she’s gone you will truly miss her, its been ten years since i lost my mother and everyday it seems like the day before, i still have not been able to get past it. So you should let your mothers life be hers and she still can continue to be your mom and help you understand your families situation. You don’t have to discuss that part of her life, and in the end you and your mom will rekindle your mother, daughter relationship. I hope that everything works out for the best for you and your family. Remember famous or not we are all HUMAN WITH EMOTIONS!

The adults are going thru their respective midlife crisis. I know it is hard for the kids. Divorce is tough! Brooke-tini, just love your Mom and Dad. They will come around. Right now, they are caught up in reliving their lost youth! We all do in some way. Some buy sports cars, others date younger members of the opposite sex.
I married a man 21 years my junior and he is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am 47, and maybe some people think it is weird to date someone who is 26, but we have been together for over four years now! My daughter is 23 and freaked out at first, but she is okay now. She is living her own life, and is happy. It is like going through a divorce, even with your kids…Everyone turns out all right in the end, but the process is tough sometimes. I wish you joy and happiness! Just love your parents: nobody is perfect, dearie! Life is too short and too precious to waste on anger!

Why does it always turn into one big scene with people posting nasty stuff on here? If you dont like what is being said do the whole crew and the people who watch the show for its entirety and dont respond. Nobody put a gun to anyones head who decides to post things on Brooke’s point of view and what not. By the way Brooke, for future reference, I am in a relationship similar to your moms. I am 21 almost 22 and my fiance is 48. The whole relationship is not an easy task but I love her just like you or anybody else loves another person in their life. In a relationship that is very similar to your moms, you need to just love her and be the bigger person and look beyond the person she is with. It took me a long time to overcome the whole fact that my mom was married to a complete jerk and after I moved out of her house I realized that no matter who she is with whether is be race age creed or religion, as long as she is happy then I am happy for her. You definatly should not take your mom out of your life completely but maybe just back off. She’s a grown woman and no matter what she still is your mom and she still loves you. I actually just got done watching your show and its now 11 pm central time and I saw the website and I figured I would jump on and post ya something real quick. There is no better time than now to go to therapy and get real with yourself. Putting all the fame aside you really are in charge of your own destiny ,not your parents and as far as Linda Hogan, let this women live her life, she has raised these kids and now its her turn to move on and do what makes her happy.She has to deal with alot of emotions concerning her son as well as the abuse I am sure she really did endure thru the years with Hulk Hogan.He had a better way of hiding it unlike O.J. Simpson did. Be fortunate and grateful that she isnt dead because of this. Please put your differences aside.
