Don Imus has once again put his hillbilly foot into his mouth on his radio show.
During an on-air conversation today about the arrests of suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones, Imus asked, “What color is he?”
When told by sports announcer Warner Wolf that Jones is “African-American,” Imus responded: “There you go. Now we know.”
For his part, civil rights leader Al Sharpton issued a statement calling the exchange disturbing “because it plays into stereotypes.”
Our thoughts? Did Imus cross the line….once again?

just look at the guy. he tries his best to say he is not a racist but the loser is racism personified. he lost his job the first time. he should still be unemployed. this is proof that the fellow bigots who re-hired him made a mistake. down with imus!

Perpetuating stereotypes is the job of said race, religion or whatever DOING the exact things that get the label put on them. We know stereotypes are there…. it is each and every person’s individual responsibility to be the best person they can be and show the stereotype is just that, a stereotype. EXAMPLE: My lil bro was a drugdealing highschool drop out POS which pissed me off b/c he gave fuel the fire about Puerto Rican stereotypes. During his Tuesday morning show, the radio host said Jones was arrested six times because police were “picking on him.”
“He’s a football player. He is a lovely kid. He was out there having fun,” Imus said
Imus said he was defending blacks with his Monday remarks.
“What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason, and I mean there’s no reason to arrest this kid six times,” he said. “They shoot blacks for no reason.”
