DON IMUS STRIKES AGAIN!

Don Imus has once again put his hillbilly foot into his mouth on his radio show.

During an on-air conversation today about the arrests of suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones, Imus asked, “What color is he?”

When told by sports announcer Warner Wolf that Jones is “African-American,” Imus responded: “There you go. Now we know.”

For his part, civil rights leader Al Sharpton issued a statement calling the exchange disturbing “because it plays into stereotypes.”

Our thoughts? Did Imus cross the line….once again?

just look at the guy. he tries his best to say he is not a racist but the loser is racism personified. he lost his job the first time. he should still be unemployed. this is proof that the fellow bigots who re-hired him made a mistake. down with imus!

Oh Please !!!!! Big damn deal !!!! This is what I mean when I say this country has become overly sensitive to the point where no one can say ANYTHING. If someone wants to get down on black people–let them–it’s a free country. If a black person wants to hate on whitey–so be it !!! Lets all just get over ourselves. Besides—I like Don Imus a lot because–to me–he’s a funny, funny guy and he does a hell of a lot for wounded vets and kids with cancer. Oh, and by the way–Al Sharpton can fuck off !!!

why is it that only black people can insult black people? stereotypes exist for a reason and if people of all colors knew how to fucking act like human beings, there wouldn’t be a need for people like al sharpton

Who cares? Al Sharpton would jump if an Black person was called anything less than perfect. Such a pathetic bottom feeder, that one.
Freedom of speech anyone? Rather he what Imus said is crap or not, he can say whatever the hell he wants. We all can, oh wait…only if it slanders the majority.

I’m with you, Dita. Who cares what this dickhead says? He’s just some old white dude looking to drum up interest in his stupid radio show. Switch to music - it’s good for your brain (and your blood pressure).

What a dumb fuck. People need to stop wasting their energy and feeding into this retard’s bullshit. He is not funny, not intelligent and defintely not newsworthy and nothing legit will ever come out of his mouth.

he is dumb!, but dumb are those that listen to him too.
WHo cares!? Poerple should be more about their personal strugle than labels, and group identities if those are undermining happiness or actual freedom and success.

Perpetuating stereotypes is the job of said race, religion or whatever DOING the exact things that get the label put on them. We know stereotypes are there…. it is each and every person’s individual responsibility to be the best person they can be and show the stereotype is just that, a stereotype. EXAMPLE: My lil bro was a drugdealing highschool drop out POS which pissed me off b/c he gave fuel the fire about Puerto Rican stereotypes. Now he is a staff sgt for the United States Army and I am sooo proud. No one can call him a lazy POS Spic now.. b/c HE made the changes in his life to prove he was otherwise.

In this case.. the person locked up doing whatever it is he wasn’t supposed to be doing dropped the ball on his responsibility to be the anti stereotype… Not saying what Imus said is correct, but if you give him fuel.. he’ll go with it… BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU! BE THE BEST PERSON YOU CAN BE! You can’t change other peoples minds by bitching about it… SHOW THEM THEY ARE WRONG!!!!

Funny how this time the media and soros funded blogs are not going hard after him this time, could it be that they want to avoid anything racial since obama is running for president, I think imus and any other moron will get a pass until the election is over. Notice how low jackson and sharpton are laying.

PS: what he said about the women’s basketball team was completely out of line and THAT was definitely wrong… reason - they didn’t do anything to perpetuate a negative stereotype.. in that instance, Imus was down right WRONG

HEY GUYS.. BTW .. THOUGHT YOU SHOULD READ THE WHOLE STORY:
The Imus controversy erupted Monday morning when sportscaster Warner Wolf told Imus that Jones wanted to swap monikers. Watch Imus explain he was defending black people »

“He’s been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005,” Wolf said.

“What color is he?” Imus asked.

    “He’s African-American,” Wolf responded.

“Well, there you go,” Imus said. “Now we know.”

During his Tuesday morning show, the radio host said Jones was arrested six times because police were “picking on him.”

“He’s a football player. He is a lovely kid. He was out there having fun,” Imus said

Imus said he was defending blacks with his Monday remarks.

“What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason, and I mean there’s no reason to arrest this kid six times,” he said. “They shoot blacks for no reason.”
