It’s being reported that influential and seven-dirty-words-loving comic George Carlin has died at 71.
According to Reuters, he was admitted to a Santa Monica hospital Sunday after complaining of chest pains.
It was announced just days ago that Carlin would be this year’s recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Rest in peace.
