Check out this just-released public service announcement from Angelina Jolie in honour of today’s World Refugee Day.
Says Miss Jolie: “For those who have survived and for those who did not, we are thinking of you on this day.”
The Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency is also planning to write an article for a major U.S. newspaper to coincide with Friday’s day of action.
Keep changing this world one day at a time, Angie!!

If we continue to live in isolation and not recognize that there’s massive pain and suffering in the world, then we will destroy ourselves. I think Angelina doesn’t think of herself as an American but as a citizen of this world and she’s doing what she can to help make it better. You can be as cynical as you want but I choose to believe that she’s doing it from her heart.

I find it funny that people always say she donates 1/3 of her income - just because she says it, doesn’t make it true. Angie & Brad reveled in the publicity when it was announced that in 2006 they donated 8 million dollars. It was on every magazine, news story, etc. Funny though, that 6 million of that was for photos of Shiloh from People Magazine. So, the remaining 2 million was from their incomes - which are upwards of 10 million each. So, they DO NOT donate 1/3 of their income - they don’t even donate a 1/5 of their income, if you DO THE MATH!
There are NUMEROUS stars who give not only MORE MONEY than Angie & Brad, but also give MORE OF THEIR TIME than Brangelina does. 8 million breaks down to 4 million each. Compared to other stars, that’s pretty paltry. You people need to wake up and see this phoney bitch for who she really is.
you idiots really buy this bullshit? the only reason she adopts “elsewhere” is because of the strict adoption laws in this country - she’s UNFIT in the USA due to her numerous MENTAL PROBLEMS. Besides, you have to WAIT in the USA for everything to be finalized - you can’t just BUY them. After she bought Maddox, they STOPPED ALL ADOPTIONS BY AMERICANS because of the way Angelina adopted him. It ruined all other people’s chance of adopting because she had to break the rules.
