Harry Potter star Emma Watson signed a $6 million deal with Chanel!!!!
Miss Watson has signed up with leading model agency Storm, which is thought to have secured her first major campaign.
It is understood that she will replace Keira Knightley, 23, whose contract with Coco Mademoiselle ends this summer. Sources said Chanel is creating a new role for Miss Knightley who, in her latest advert, poses provocatively with just a bowler hat covering her modesty.
A source said Miss Watson’s appointment will be announced next month. ‘Emma has been excitedly telling friends that she is going to be taking over from Keira.
It should come as no surprise that Karl and his Chanel minions have been slowly integrating Emma into the Chanel brand. In recent months, there hasn’t been a red carpet that the young actress has hit without donning something Chanel!
UPDATE: Chanel tells People the rumour that Emma Watson is replacing Keira Knightley as the face of their Mademoiselle fragrance is false.

she’s come a long was since the first movie, but i don’t see her as exuding the “chanel grace”.

She has a kind of cool, fresh, natural nice look about her. Very nice face. I’m not so sure she is a Chanel type but why not give it a try ???

I think the relationship will be a good one. Chanel can give her the polishing she so desperately needs. And Emma has a very broad base of appeal–who doesn’t love Hermione?
One thing is certain: Chanel will never let her out in public with that horrid makeup job like she’s sporting above.

She’s most unfortunate looking. Cute girl, not an ounce of fashion sense. And she doesn’t help herself by standing with hunched over shoulders (when will these young girls learn how stupid and insecure that makes them look?).

good choice by chanel i think. she’s a bit young though, which is the only concerning factor
