Mr. Federline was awarded the prize in a ceremony two days before Father’s Day, which falls on June 15.
This is not the first time Kevin has been recognized for his parenting skills. Last November, Details magazine named him one of their Fathers of the Year, along with the late Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-partner, Larry Birkhead.

What kinda credit are we supposed to give to these “titles”? I mean, c’mon, do we really believe that that Nicole Richie and Kevin Federline are the best parents going?
This is absolutely ridiculous. Sure it’s great they he did what any decent dad would do and take the kids because Britney couldn’t, but he’s hardly been seen with him at all. Every time those kids are out they are with a nanny or Britney and her dad. I could count on my fingers the number of times I’ve seen Kevin with those kids. It’s obviously all for publicity.
I actually don’t mind K-Fed all that much. Of course that’s not to say that the guy deserves a Father of the Year award, but at least he doesn’t sell his children’s every experience like Larry Birkhead!
