HOLLYWOOD’S LATEST BAD GIRL

Just when things seemed to be quieting down in the Lindsay Lohan news department, pictures of her holding a knife to a “friend’s” throat at a party last June - just goofing around, you know - are getting picked up here and there. Turns out the “friend” is Vanessa Minnillo.
Vanessa? You mean girlfriend of good boy Nick Lachey? Could it be? Yes!
Could the former Miss USA be not as sweet as she seems? How did she go from MTV’s resident good girl to girl gone wild?

You see, it all started in April when Vanessa decided not to renew her contracts as host of MTV’s ‘TRL’ and ‘Entertainment Tonight’ correspondent, in hopes of landing a movie career. Now, sources are buzzing that it was ET execs that weren’t so happy with Vanessa.
Execs for the show supposedly flew her to Los Angeles to cover the Grammys, “she was extremely high maintenance,” said one source. “She insisted they fly her own hair and makeup people and her personal assistant out with her every time she flew to L.A. She only flew first class and stayed at the Four Seasons, and then she didn’t want to work. Vanessa wants to be a celebrity, not interview them,” said the source. “She wouldn’t conduct post-show interviews because she wanted to party. She expected to be paid a full-time salary for a part-time job.”
Consequently, Miss Minnillo was left out of ET’s Oscar coverage.
Making matters worse? Sources at Page Six says they’ve seen her bad girl metamorphisis themselves, when they spotted Vanessa at one of the fall fashion shows “changing seats for 15 minutes until she was satisfied.” She’s apparently “been known to bark orders at cocktail waitresses and cause scenes when she goes club hopping at night.”
For Vanessa’s part, her peeps tell the paper that their client “chose to leave ET because her contract ended. This is the first I’ve heard about any bad behavior.”
Something tells me it isn’t going to be the last…..

Yeah, I don’t get when they say she flew first class, and insisted on her own makeup and hair people etc. . . if you have a contract, it seems things like that would have been settled already, or she would have to pay herself — was she holding a gun to their heads? How could they complain after the fact?

I don’t buy this at all. She seems so totally down to earth that I can’t even see her pulling this diva shit. I’d expect that from Nick’s ex-wife.

Even if its bad publicity, its probably the best publicity thats ever happened to her. She thinks she is a lot more famous than she actually is, probably because she is dating Nick. What she doesn’t realise though, is when he ditches her she will be back to being a little MTV VJ and nothing more. What other talents does she have? Singing? Dancing? Acting? Yeah….didn’t think so.
