A frazzled and worried-looking Salma Hayek was spotted comforting her daughter Valentina today as they departed from the eye doctor in Los Angeles Monday afternoon.
Salma’s hair hung in her face and she clutched her little girl in awkward fashion while forcing her oversized sunglasses onto Valentina’s tiny face. The new mother seemed concerned and determined to fit her 9-month-old bundle of joy with some protective eyewear to shield her fragile eyes (and dilated pupils?) from the sun.
Are Valentina’s eyes okay or is this just an example of an overprotective new mother?

You would think with all the money the baby daddy has she’d have body guards and assistants to help her.
He used her to get his foot in hollywood, she better pin him down before he moves on to the next younger starlet, did he backpedal on marrying her ?
Perhaps she was trying to shield the baby’s eyes from the cameras. Celebs are fair game but kids are NOT.
Her daughter probably has blocked tear ducts. My first daughter had it. You don’t have to dialate their eyes though, the doctor is just looking for the dough to do it. I told the doctor no because he already knew the problem. You can either get a cotton ball and rub in the corner of the eye to try and open the eye duct area for the eye. If that doesn’t work they have to restrain the child and pierce the duct in an operating type room. If you don’t do it when they are a baby then they will have to go under anesthesia. She obviously is distraught because her daughters eyes are dialated and that would freak any new mother out seeing their child like that. LEAVE THE POOR WOMAN ALONE. Let her have her moment. She is a real person just like you and me. She just has better bone structure and makes more money.
Looks like she is just trying to protect her little girl’s eyes from the cameras but she certainly looks awkward holding that baby. Makes you wonder whether she has a lot of help at home and is only used to holding her child when the cameras are around. I can’t see her running around after a child I have to say.

The baby isn’t her meal ticket she also writes, directs and produces this little show called “Ugly Betty.” She makes her own money now doubt about that. Her loaded husband actually has a brain and inspires her. You know she started this organization that provides vaccinations for children in Africa. I definitely think she is pulling her own. As to why she doesn’t dress like she is married to a billionaire is because she doesn’t care that people recognize that. She doesn’t let the trappings of human falsification define who she is like those other self absorbed fashion plates like Paris and Posh. I think that she is totally cool to friggen relax, where jeans, carry your own god damn baby. All these lip injected wives screwing their trainers while the nanny watches and raises their kids need to wake up.

Thank you, off the wall. I love Selma. I didn’t think there were people out there who didn’t. I love Ugly Betty, and the woman is gorgeous. I really think some of you out there might be a tad bit jealous. Bet you didn’t look that good even before you had kids.
Ugly betty is just a bad recycled telenovela now getting tons of free publicity and media hype because it has alot of political issues that hollywood wants to promote like amnesty for illegals, open borders, homosexual agenda…
awards are no longer about talent or viewership, it’s about what show promotes the most political issues.
Every spanish speaking country has their own version of ugly betty and still can’t stomach it. No special directing or producing or writing just the actors change.
My god, can’t a mother take her kid to the doctor without the paps running her down for a photo op? Let them have some peace!
