Newman is said to have been diagnosed with lung cancer at New York’s Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he is having outpatient treatment. The pictures capture the iconic 83-year-old actor/director on his way to Cafe des Artistes with his wife, Joanne Woodward, and his daughter. In this rare public sighting, Newman looked fragile as he walked slowly and deliberately from his car with his family, and had what appeared to be an asthma inhaler and some other type of medical instrument in his Ieft hand.
Paul’s frail appearance gives weight to the recent article printed in The Globe Magazine that he is undergoing medical treatments for Cancer and has been given six months to live.

I agree with you Beth, he has done so much good in his life that is worth recognition. Forget about him getting old, of course he’s not going to be in perfect health at his age. I think they should just leave he and his family alone to age in peace. I hope he doesn’t have cancer though, if so my thoughts are with him!

What a great couple; I think they’ve been married for 50 years or so. I really liked The Three Faces of Eve, and my very first Newman movie was Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid :o). I admire him quite a bit; I hope these are just rumors and not reality.
