Debra Messing was escorted by none other than Michael Kors for the evening.
The beautiful funnygirl wore a purple gown he designed. “I’m an outsider in the world of fashion and on the arm of a beautiful nominee,” Messing said on the red carpet.

Beautiful color for her! She really knows what colors to wear to suit her complexion and her hair. I don’t really like the way her hair is sitting at the front here but otherwise she looks fantastic!

I liked Messing’s comment about Michael Kors. I’m sure Kors got all smug and prissy-faced at being fawned over like that.
The gown is a beautiful color, and Messing is a beautiful woman. I’m not really crazy about where the bodice sits, though. It makes her small bustline look non-existent.

I’ve like her so much better since she had her kid a few years ago. I used to watch her on Will & Grace and it would bother me so much that I could see her sternum. She was just sticks and bones and you could tell she was starving herself to keep that weight.
