After a brief hiatus from the set, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were back at work today filming scenes for their upcoming romantic comedy, The Proposal, outside the Downtown Federal Building in New York City.
The Anne Fletcher-directed flick is about a pushy boss (Sandra) who faces losing her visa status in the U.S. and possible deportation to Canada.
Sandra and Ryan were filming the pivotal scene were Sandra’s character gets on one knee and asks Ryan’s character for his hand in marriage in a dire attempt to remain Stateside.

I like Ryan, I think he’s perfect for romantic comedies…I’ve had seconded thoughts about his character though after getting engaged to Scarlett. I’m am certainly not a fan of hers! I’m not exactly a fan of Sandra either actually, I feel like she’s always playing the same tom-boyish, single independant women characters. She needs to mix it up a little.
