PETE GETS BIRTHDAY TREAT FROM ASHLEE

Mum-to-be Ashlee Simpson treated hubby Pete Wentz, who turned 29 on Thursday, to a birthday dinner at Foxtail in West Hollywood last night.
If that was Ashlee’s only birthday present, Pete is unlikely to be disappointed.
He recently told E!’s Jason Kennedy: “The truth is I hate my birthday. I don¹t like it at all. It’s because I realized I’m bad at receiving presents. I’m really bad at receiving presents so I get really nervous around my birthday and I really don’t want people to give me presents.”
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call Reverse Psychology 101.

I’m really liking these two. Before they got married I didn’t really know much about either of them, but they just seem to fit together very well. Both have fairly down to earth personalities and I think it’s kind of cute that he finds it hard to get gifts. My grandpa is the same way, always feels embarassed when people buy him things. It’s called being humble, and not many people are like that these days.
