While the rest of gay Hollywood is rushing to the alter following California’s landmark ruling on same-sex marriage, Rosie O’Donnell says she’s planning to wait.
As you may recall, the talk show host-turned-celebrity blogger and her girlfriend Kelli Carpenter tied the knot four years ago when San Francisco declared same-sex marriage legal. Sadly, it was invalidated by the state’s Supreme Court only months later.
Now, Ro says she is “going to wait until it’s legal everywhere, because otherwise, I said to Kelli, we’ll be going around touring the country on the marriage tour every state by state.”
Meanwhile, fellow gay celeb T.R. Knight says he too is in no rush to say I Do to his 19-year-old boyfriend Mark Cornelson. But for the Grey’s Anatomy hunk, it’s for an entirely different reason. “We’ve only known each other for six months,” he tells TV’s Extra. “So I think it’s a little soon to consider marriage.” He adds that the age difference is “bound to raise some eyebrows, but we love each other.”

Glad to see they’re all not turning crazy and getting married, otherwise in 5 years the divorce rate will be 1/.5!!!
They will burn in hell unless they change their ways…sorry but it is true!
I agree Laura.
The state that I live in, will NEVER approve of gay marriages. Sorry, but its true.
“Change their ways”– oh, you religious nut. That made me laugh a little. I don’t care what others choose to do with their personal lives as long as it doesn’t hurt others, however I second Meaghan’s comment about marriage… but with application to anyone. People in general seem to be rushing to the altar, if they do at all.
Aysla - I was applying it to all too, hahahaha, it doesn’t matter who you marry, chances are in nowadays world, one of the people getting married isn’t thinking FOREVER, its until they can’t stand them anymore.

And you crazy religious nuts should really start keeping these thoughts to yourself, its just making the rest of the world look down on your ignorance and hypocritical views.
Laura, why don’t you try to live your own fucking lives first before you push your agenda on others. Fucking tightass right-wing bitch. Bet your husband is fucking your daughter.
well what if I want to marry two women, or my horse and dog…. where does the insanity end ?
TR Knight’s bf’s only 19?! Does anyone know how old TR is?
Omfg. Anonymous 7:02– it ends between two consenting adults. Animals cannot legally consent. Polygamous marriage is a different issue, but some arguments against it largely stem from an economical stand point.
.
No insanity.
^Ah, just want to add… other arguments against polygamous marriage are that it exploits women in general, favors the male (patriarchy), and leads to the structure of family and society being radically realigned… something which a marriage between two gay individuals (which favors the traditional structure in number) could not accomplish. Here’s an interesting blog written by the economist Gary Becker on it: http://www.becker-posner-blog.com/archives/2006/10/should_polygamy.html
^Posner, my mistake.
stay out of polygamist’s bedrooms aysla.
discriminating against groups of TWO people is just as bad as discriminating against gays.
either open up marriage for everyone or keep it as it is…(where gays CAN marry, just not each other…same as you and me.)
ontairo went the right way and legalised same sex marriage…and NOW THEY HAVE more polygamist marriages than gay ones.
^Eh, I don’t know. I listed some reasons against, I’d like to see some specific reasons from you. Simply crying “discrimination!” doesn’t do it for me, as I don’t believe it’s “just as bad”– there’s that great degree of advantage for the male over the female. In any case, I was merely presenting some arguments against. I feel strongly that gays be allowed to marry (or scrap marriage altogether– stick to that pesky thing of separation of church and state– and instead turn to civil unions with the same legal rights as marriage. Or… blah blah blah. Depends on your approach). Headache. Off I go.
I still want to have then right to marry my Horse and he consented.
was that supposed to be funny, anonymous 15? “ha”. it was pointed out earlier, but in case your reading comprehension skills suck, animals can’t L-E-G-A-L-L-Y consent. but have fun with your horse, you sick freak.
