That sure looks to be the case!!!
With his bass in tow, Pete Wentz was spotted arriving at John Mayer’s L.A. home today.
So, how did this unlikely union happen? John recently wrote about the newly married Fall Out Boy rocker on his official blog.
John said he was “inspired” by Pete’s creativity, adding: “Your mind is like a stadium with the dome open… you have ZERO judgment when it comes to things that move you.”
Should we expect a Mayer/Wentz collaboration in the near future? Stay tuned!!

they already worked together on fall out boys last single. mayer has a tour coming up 2 weeks so maybe they are guitar jamming

Danyell, you are totally right! I was just going to comment on that. John already worked with FOB on ‘Beat It’.. so yea, collab already happened :p
I am guessing John met Pete when John was ‘meeting’ with Jessica. Seems like a friendship started from that.

Yeah normally I’m not a fan of old songs being recovered but I don’t mind Fall Out Boy and John Mayer’s Beat It. True to their style and yet still recognisable. I hate how any time guys hang out together there are these stupid gay jokes and little BFF comments. They are just two musicians who are friends, big deal. John must be kicking himself he broke up with Jess, that could have made him Pete’s brother in law!

Geez, men of the same feather flock together! These two are both attention seeking menwh*res, who courts publicity for them without shame!
Now Jennifer really has downgraded herself, she is with these B or even C-listers who tries so hard to become A-listers by hooking up with women more popular than them.

I think John is fine having it like this. He can be friends with Pete without having to put up with Jessica. He never really seemed interested in her, so its great that theyve both found love elsewhere.
