That Rosie O’Donnell — you just never know what she’s gonna serve up.
Unlike her current reputation as a shamelessly liberal, fist-wielding liberal, Miss O’Donnell was Queen of Nice yesterday in front of hundreds of booksellers and librarians. (We blame the early hour — it was 8:00 AM.)
The controversial entertainer was at BookExpo America, the annual publishing industry trade show, to promote her memoir, ‘Celebrity Detox.’ It’s due in stores September 18.
“The book opens on my first day on ‘The View’,” she said. “It’s been an interesting year. We had to change the epilogue.”
The title describes Rosie’s attempt to leave fame behind after she left her own talk show in 2002. Ro said the book asks: “If celebrity and fame are truly a drug, can one go back to drinking and sip instead of taking a slug?”
I’m not sure, but I bet Lindsay Lohan would be in a good position to answer that one!

How convenient for her to have a book coming out just as she leaves the View? Looks to me like she knew she would be leaving at this time of year all along. Just watch- she will be doing absolutely everything in her power to keep her ‘fame’ alive and to not fade away after the View.
whats with her and shitty rhymes? is it her ‘thing’?
