With her lovey-dovey hubby Nick Cannon waiting patiently backstage, Mariah Carey performed at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2008 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama last night.
Looking typically Mimi in a glittery mini-dress and sky-high sandals, the multi-octave diva was on hand to perform her hit song Touch My Body in front of an audience of screaming fans.
Later during the show, Fergie and Nelly took the stage to offer attendees a fiery performance of their club jam, Party People.
And, of course, no award show would be complete without an appearance by red carpet rodent Paris Hilton.

Snaps to Mariah’s stylist — that dress tricks the eye into slimming her hips and waist. Note how the glittery strands stop a few inches before her actual side and the black fabric just blends with the background. Nice.
I am so sick of seeing that woman’s boobs, legs, stomach. Please put some clothes on. She has one look, and that is skin tight of anything she is wearing. Boring.

Mariah looks good in that red dress…the sparkly dress is just a bit too tacky. She wears the same sort of thing all the time, doesn’t she get bored of it? Paris looks as annoying and little girly as ever….what happened to her rocker style huh? The Japanese absolutely love her though…I think its got to do with the blonde hair. When I went to Japan all these random people were coming up and asking to have photos with me haha.
