Jennifer Garner joined hubby Ben Affleck yesterday in Fairfax, Virgina where he took the stage at the Falls Church High School to deliver the commencement speech to the class of 2007.
Ben’s appearance was inspired by his friendship with senior Joe Kindregan, whom the actor met in 1998 when the young man (who has the rare degenerative disease AT) visited the set of Forces of Nature.
You know, Ben would be a really decent guy if it weren’t for his addiction to booze and strippers.

^I agree, Tania. What guy in his twenties hasn’t done that? I like Ben a lot, he seems like a very genuine kind of guy and it looks like he’s matured quite a bit since he settled down. I like Jen’s dress… maybe not on other people, but I think it looks cute on her.
I think Ben is awesome for going to his graduation. Why didn’t he stay for the festivities?

Jen is NOT cute at all. She is beyond average and not at all stunning. Ewh, i hate the plain jane look.
I think Ben is great…teh only time I didn’t like him was when he was with J.Lo- THAT was such a mismatch!

i like them. that dress is “ehhh” but for jen it’s not so bad because i’ve seen pics of what she wears on her off days. lol

ugh i hate being grabbed by the wrist like that! i think they both look good here- i’m not a huge fan of jen’s (too ‘wholesome’ for me!) but they seem to be a lovely couple and it was great of ben to do that for the kid.
They do seem like a really good couple and one that could actually last. I agree that Jennifer is just not attractive at all to me, very plain. I think it was very sweet of Ben to talk at this grad ceremony though- most celebs would charge a fortune to do it or not do it at all.
judging by the worried look on his face, he probably grabbed her wrist to help steer her away from the photographers obviously standing there. it was probably a 2 second thing.
anyway, i love ben. he’s one of my favourite male celebrities. he seems intelligent, well-grounded… he really wouldn’t have been expected to turn up to some school presentation of a guy he met 9 years ago, but here he is..
nope i do not find her attractive.or him.only two things come to mind when i see ben, the song from team america, pearl harbour sucked, and that episode of soth park when they posted kennys ass as a missing kid on milk cartons-lmao.

I think they are an adorable couple. If you look at her face, she isn’t the least bothered by him holding her wrist. I definitely think Ben has grown up tremendously since his days of J-Lo and I believe Jennifer has a lot to do with. And this is coming from a Yankees fan - lol.
Tat’s nice that they attended to that prom. I don’t like them separately, but I think they make a nice couple.
That is my high school. When I went there, our speaker was the widow of our formal principal. Sentimental and all, but this class gets Ben Affleck. Color me jealous. And he wasn’t at the actual school…he was at the ceremony that was held at Patriot Center at George Mason University. We had our graduation on our football but they had to class it up for Ben. It’s a relatively poor school. Connections are everything…if only he would donate some money to the school too!
