much more modest that i thought. plus, it’s lousiana, so it probably cost next to nothing.
it’s sweet for them though, maybe they’re just being frugal.

Cute house and very typical of the homes in Louisiana towns like Kentwood. Did anyone actually think that maybe Jamie Lynn doesn’t WANT a big ass mansion? Maybe she just wants to be like everyone else in the town and take some of the attention off of her. I think she seems very mature for her age and she’s handling this situation very well. I think she just wants to have this baby and start to live her life with Casey.

why does everyone think she’d be able to afford an expensive home? what form of income has she got?
i’m 19 and work full time, i wouldn’t be able to afford a place like that!! good on her, i think she’s living extremely well for someone of her age and situtation.

Never judge a book by it’s cover. You people have no idea what the inside of that house looks like or WILL look like. I’d be willing to bet everything will be custom. It’s a very nice, southern home on a great piece of land where her kid can grow up without paparazzi everywhere and be Hollywood-free.
She probably paid cash for the house. It’s how rich people STAY rich. You don’t go out and buy a 12 million dollar home. Do you think it’s free to MANAGE those types of homes? She’s smart in buying something she’ll be able to afford, to heat, cool, manage and stay in for a while.

What’s the big deal? She’s a country girl at heart from humble beginnings. She probably doesn’t need all the extravagance that other spoiled celebs desire. She probably wants to raise her child in a normal environment with normal kids. Let her be.

Agree w/ Stephi and Asa. It looks like a nice house to me. And sec, you’re 19 and can’t afford a place like that because you don’t have your own tv show. You’re not actually questioning the girl’s finances are you???? She’s rich and has an ultra-rich big sis. Jamie Lynn is fine.

The house looks pretty huge to me! So far it looks like she’s been doing everything she can to prepare to be a good mom. Everyone talks trash about her because of her sister, but it seems like they are VERY different people!!! Good for her.
