Clay Aiken is reportedly going to be a baby daddy!
The mother is said to be Jaymes Foster, a record producer and Clay’s best friend. She’s in her late 40s and is the sister of record mogul David Foster. He lives at her home when he’s in L.A.
The baby was conceived through artificial insemination and is due in August.
Ugh….
No word from Aiken’s rep yet.

I am all in support for gay marriage but I don’t really like the idea of gays and lesbians having children. I know some people say that if they can’t produce naturally they shouldn’t have kids, but what about heterosexual couples who can’t produce, should they not be allowed IVF, just because it’s not natural? It’s got nothing to do with that for me, I just think kids have enough problems growing up than to be in a family unit where they are likely to be confused and teased about it at school. It’s not acceptable in society, and until it is, I don’t think homosexual couples should have kids. It’s not fair on the child.

Stephi, I just read your comment and I have to disagree. I don’t want to get into a whole song and dance here, but bigotry should not get to decide issues like this. Using this yardstick, ppl in mixed race marriages would never have been able to produce children. If it’s wrong to ostracize families b/c they’re different, then it’s the bullies that should change, not their victims.
