After totally killing it on her two-episode stint on How I Met Your Brother, Britney Spears is reportedly in talks to star in a slew of upcoming small screen projects.
Sources say Britney and her team met with Roy Bank, President of Merv Griffin Entertainment, and discussed several TV projects in which Brit would star in and possibly produce. We’re told one of the projects is a music show.
Of course, Britney is no stranger to producing her own show. She and ex-hubby Kevin Federline were the forces behind their classic reality-based show, Chaotic.

Hey BJB!!! This story sounds like a bunch of happy horseshit. The media has her linked to so many projects & supposed come-backs. I call bunk. Let her continue to detox & keep her Dad around to make sure she stays off the drugs & then she might be able to do something productive…#1 be a decent mother to her boys.
The bottom line with Brit is that she just CAN’T sing!!! She was a decent and maybe even good performer in her late teens and early 20’s but that was a production and not based soley on her talent as an artist. If you were to put her in a studio with a piano player and ask her to sing for you, you would see that she just has no real talent. No one wants to hear or see from an out of shape mom of 2 reaching 30 years of age, trying to rekindle a long ago past.
You people saying she ‘lost her looks’ are cracking me up. This is how she’s always looked, just a tad more haggard and with worse makeup. But these are the exact same facial features that she’s always had. It’s not like she was ever beautiful. Come on, now.

Arasto always puts the bad pictures of Britney up. It was interesting to me that he didn’t post any of the pictures of her in her bikini in Costa Rica…maybe because she looked good?
I think TV is a good move for Britney, until she gets her music career back on track. I think she’s still got a LOT of work to do to be back to the level of professionalism that she used to be at, but with some small TV roles along the way I think she will show the public that she’s still got it. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about her going on How I Met Your Mother, but she really did a great job and it’s obvious that when put in the right roles she does very well. She’s got a natural charisma about her that shows on TV.
