Maggie Gyllenhaal has teamed up with Ben & Jerry’s at the ice cream company’s Times Square Scoop Shop in New York to unveil details for the Peace Day concert September 21.
The main attraction at today’s event? A re-creation of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Peace Bed-In. Photographer Roy Kerwood, who shot the original 1969 protest, was in attendance.
Ben & Jerry’s also unveiled its Lennon tribute ice cream, Imagine Whirled Peace, a concoction of caramel and sweet cream ice cream, fudge peace signs and toffee cookie pieces.
Who knew peace could sound so delicious?
