Nick on the perks of being a teen heartthrob: “When you see a girl that you think is totally hot, in an airport or something, and she’ll come up and be like, ‘Oh my gosh, you guys are the Jonas Brothers.’ And we’re like, ‘Oh, yes, we are.’”Nick on wearing a purity ring, which symbolizes his commitment to abstinence until marriage: “It’s a personal decision. It’s another way for us to be different. Some people are like ‘Whoa’ — taken aback. Why is the world so freaked out that we have standards?”
Kevin on Miley Cyrus: “We had a party on the tour bus for my birthday, but Miley couldn’t come because she was grounded.”
The boys also offer up some of their secret talents. While Nick makes “really good” macaroni and cheese, Kevin can burp on command and Joe is a “great matchmaker.” He takes credit for setting up his bass player with a girl they saw on the street in Boston.

It kind of bothers me that all these kids like the Jonas Brothers and Miley are running around like little celebrities when they are still able to get grounded. I think it’s great that they are so talented but they aren’t having a normal childhood whether their parents or themselves argue they are or not. Doing interviews and talking about your private life isn’t something that young teenagers should do I don’t think. They are going to look back in a few years time and probably regret half the things they have said and done.
