This year’s American Idol is none other than David Cook, of course.

The resident rocker’s win comes despite judge Simon Cowell declaring David Archuleta the winner after Tuesday night’s grand finale. (He later went on to apologize to Cooke for “disrespecting” the aspiring singer.)

Our thoughts? Well deserved or was young David ripped off?

    WOOOO! Glad it’s him. He is the right choice. Archuleta is WAY too young and he only appeals to 16 yr olds while Cook appeals to 16 yr olds and up :) He’s oh so yummy as well. Well deserved :)

    This will give David A time to decide if he coming out or not..LOL…..Cook is the more versatile performer and deserved the win. I hope they both have good management/production teams behind them like Carrie Underwood has.

    Don’t care which one came out came out on top, they both are bottom cum recepticles. David Cook looks like he has a mild case of Downs’ Syndrome.

    [...] Gestern Abend  fand das Finale von “American Idol” statt und klarer Gewinner war das Rocktalent David Cook (25) aus Palm Springs. “Das ist alles Deine Schuld”, rief er in Tänen aufgelöst seinem Bruder Andrew zu.  Der 17-jährige David Archuleta konnte sich mit seinen Schmusenummern nicht durchsetzen. Zum Abschluss der Show nahm Cook das Mikrofon und sang “Time of my Life”. Der Mann trat so professionell auf, als hat er nie was anders gemacht! Die 60-minütige Show sahen 27,94 Millionen US-Amerikaner. Damit konnte man im Vergleich zum Halbfinale in der vergangenen Woche noch einmal einige Millionen Zuseher gewinnen. FOTOS [...]

    David Cook is the HOTTEST human being to ever grace this earth’s atmosphere.
    Plus he has a good voice. Haha
