Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father says she suffers from multiple addictions, including alcohol and the painkiller OxyContin.
“I spoke to the people treating Lindsay, because I wanted to make sure she was getting the right care,” Michael Lohan told E! Online. “And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from the painkillers and things. That’s a very important step.”
Before entering rehab, 20-year-old LiLo was scheduled to start work this week on ‘Poor Things’, a comedy starring Shirley MacLaine, who is also a producer on the movie. MacLaine and co-producer Rob Hickman said in a statement yesterday that Lindsay still wants to work on the project.
“We are trying to rearrange the shooting schedule to facilitate her working at the end of the shoot to coincide with the completion of her rehabilitation,” the statement said.
In other events swirling around La Lohan, Gatecrasher reports the actress is losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in endorsements for her big 21st Las Vegas birthday bash. Since rules and laws about underage drinking are uber strict in Sin City, no company is willing to lay it all on the line for the troubled rehab princess.
Considering the fact that Lindsay has been celebrating the big 2-1 since she was 16-years-old, we think she should just be grateful to still be alive!

Wow, how mad is she at her dad right now???? He needs to just shut the hell up. It has to suck balls being in rehab on your 21st b’day but that’s what she gets.
why are they rearranging the work schedule for her? This is the epitome of enabling. What lesson does she learn if she still gets work after a situation like this? what motivation does she have to get clean if she is still getting work?
She needs long term help and to not work for a while.. she needs to get herself together before she dies. She needs to disappear like Drew Barrymore did until she’s better, then maybe she can work again… she also needs to ditch the looser train she has for friends and family.
I think her dad does really care about her and what is going on… just b/c he’s screwed up on things doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his daughter.. and seeing anyone you love going through this is torture.. believe me!!

I thought Shirley MacLaine would have more common sense and backbone than to cater to lohan and her shit. She should have fired her, lindsay needs some tough love in order to lern some fucking responsebility. But having Hollywood Megastars being so nice to her and her stupid antics is not going to help her. I love Shirley but what the hell was she thinking? Just go get another girl, this is so gona backfire. That movie is gona flop anyways I mean read the plot of this crap on imdb.com

why the $#! are they keeping her on this film? FIND A DIFFERENT ACTRESS! One that will appreciate the opportunity! Damnit, it’s like there are no consequences for her! She’ll get off the coke possession by saying she doesn’t know who’s it was (it wasn’t found on her person) and they’ll go hecka light on the accident and leaving the scene because she needed “medical treatment” oh this is a bunch of happy horse shit.

She’s still going to be filming when she’s in rehab!!?? Most of the time filming lasts all day so she probably won’t be spending hardly any time in rehab at all if this is the case. She is just not taking it seriously, when you go to rehab it means you have really reached the worst stage of addiction and everything needs to be called off. That includes movies, partying and shopping! She really needs to get her priorities straight or there will definately be no more movie offers for her.
They should not be stalking her at rehab, but then again, why go to the most famous rehab place in the world?
