HOLLYWOOD MOM

Proving that it truly takes a village, supermodel mother-of-three Heidi Klum, who turns 34 on Friday, enlisted the help of her own mother Erma plus an entourage of three nannies - one for each child - when she recently checked out the shops in the Big Apple’s trendy Soho district.
While grandma took care of the youngest, six-month-old Johan, Heidi held three-year-old daughter Leni’s hand while a nanny pushed an empty double-buggy - leaving two nannies in charge of one-year-old Henry.
So wonder no more why you struggle with your one ankle-biter while Hollywood types seem to effortlessly juggle an ever-growing brood all while looking fabulous on the red carpet.

I sincerely hope there is not one nanny per child.
Heidi doesn’t seem the type

how do you know they’re not just her friends? The woman pushing the double pram looks so much like heidi’s mother they could be related. The three nannies thing is ridiculous.

Looks like a family outing to me. She looks gorgeous in that bottom photo with the baby.

She is truly pathetic!

thank you arasto for this post. i’m not against anyone having 1 or multiple nannies, more power to them if they can afford it (as long as they aren’t neglecting the kids). little ones are alot of work

It is not physically or mathematically possible to have given birth to children that are currently 1 year old and 6 months old. They take 9 months to bake! Please people, do the math! I bet that having a nanny (or “nannies”, as the case may be) makes it easier to be a good parent - takes the edge off. I’m sure if we could all afford them, we sure would all have them (no matter how much we love our kids and want to be with them). Nice to be able to take a shower/run an errand/see a friend/have a nap.

more power to her - she needs to spend the money she makes - might as well be on care for her kids

guilty pleasure, it is COMPLETELY possible, especially since a lot of people say that a child is one year old until they turn two, rather than continuing to count the months.

My sister-in-law has 3 kids this age. Due to lack of “help”, someone’s always getting hurt or lost in a store.
I’d much rather do it Heidi’s way & have all my kids safe.

Guiltypleasure -
Helene “Leni” (born 05/04/04) is 3 years old (father Flavio Briatore); Henry (born 09/12/05) is 1 year old; and Johan (born 11/22/06) is 6 months old (both boys father is Seal).
So Arasto is correct about the children’s ages.

parissucksliterally, I think they are her nannies. Those bitties are ALWAYS with her when she has the children. That’s just rediculous. Clearly, with three small children all under the age of 5 she needs help, but THREE???? Well, she has the money. And at least she seems to be a hands-on mom. You ALWAYS see her with her kids (holding them and playing with them). Still, she could’ve done well with just one nanny - those kids are gonna be sooo confused (shit, just looking at this photo makes ME confused!).

What is up with Henry’s tongue? - it’s always protruding.

Does anyone know the type of purse she’s carrying? The one slung across her? It looks like a Roots Flat Pack…but would Heidi Klum be carrying a Roots leather bag?
