Looks like Jesse McCartney and Aubrey O’Day aren’t Hollywood’s only latest and strangest coupling.

Dean Cain and Alli Sims (a.k.a. Britney Spears’ faux cousin) were spotted out partying during the 61st Cannes International Film Festival in France yesterday. The smiley twosome appeared very chummy and got only closer as the night went on, climaxing with an early depature together from the star-studded soirée.

Just when you thought T.V.’s Superman couldn’t date any worse than a country singer with a criminal record longer than her list of hits (yes, we’re talking about Mindy McCready), it just did!
