The clock was ticking and the event-planners were bustling last night at Ashlee Simpson’s wedding rehearsal dinner party at her sister Jessica Simpson’s house in Studio City, CA.
The allegedly knocked up lip songstress and her beau Pete Wentz are primed to swap vows sometime today.
Las-minute party preparations are still taking place as Simpson family employees and an SUV full of balloons and tables were spotted bustling in and out of the Royal Oaks Colony, the gated community where Joe and Tina live.

When I think of this, it’s like throwing a wedding for two high school kids who are dating since a year or so… Normally they would loose contact over the summer vacation when she decides to travel in europe, and next semester they move with their lives and date other people… To me they are teenagers but I hear she is 24 this year…
I hate that these two morans get this much publicity for their wedding. His music is not even good and she, well we all know how bad she is. They’ll get like 2 million or something to show stupid pictures in OK magazine and we’ll all get to hear how “magical” it was.
They are both just young at heart, there is nothing wrong with that and it doesn’t mean that their relationship is not valid. I think they are cute together and really suit each other’s personalities. People need to give them a break, I don’t think they could care less what people think about them though to be quite honest. They are happy together and that’s all that matters. I’m looking foward to seeing their wedding pictures.
