In a just-released statement, Shania’s peeps said: “Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.”
Guess that explains what’s been taking Eilleen so long to release a new album!

My husband worked with her when she and Mutt started dating. EVERYONE knew why she hooked up with him. She’s a rather mercenary individual, to be sure, and not at all a nice person to others behind the scenes in the business. At least, back then she wasn’t. |

Krissa, you’re absolutely right. I’ve NEVER seen a picture of Eja (or Aja - not sure how they spell it), yet no one jumped down her throat for not allowing her to show him off, unlike when Britney didn’t immediately sell pics of Jayden after he was born. Hell, there are ZERO pictures of her when she was pregnant, unlike Katie Holmes, and yet no one questioned the authenticity of her pregnancy either! I guess the whole “show me the baby or else” mentality wasn’t as big of a phenomenon back then as it is now but it’s very sad to hear that her marriage is ending. |

JaneSays, I don’t think you can really compare them. Britney was a drug addict and drank during the pregnancy — there was reason to believe Jayden had FAS or something (he still could). And Katie Holmes was and is clearly in a career marriage with a man plagued by gay rumors for decades. Those rumors don’t stick for that long with no cause. On the other hand, who gives a shit about Shania and her private life? You sell your soul to the tabs, they will get their money’s worth. |

How sad. Its always sad when a couple who’ve been together for so long split. I love her and I’m sure she’ll be fine. “mutt” on the other hand, will never get such a hot babe again! |

I saw a recent pic of them together and he’s looking really old and…well…not very attractive. He is going to be 60 on his next birthday and Shania is only 42. They probably just got sick of each other. |

ok really…that chick hes messing around with could be the new “mutt”. what is he thinking????? she is not an attractive person and what comes around goes around. they will both be sorry. especially when he gets his eyesight back. shania can move on and hopefully find someone who will not cheat……. |
