Sean Penn was up to his bad boy ways today at Cannes.
The actor, who heads the film festival jury, reportedly pulled out a cigarette and puffed on it at a press conference today. Only problem? Laws were enacted in January banning smoking in public enclosed spaces.
After a few drags, he quickly put it out and returned to answering reporters’ questions. But jury member Marjane Satrapi, an Iranian author/director clearly inspired by her peer’s defiance, then asked to much laughter if anyone minded if she smoked “for medical reasons.” She the lit a cigarette, with Mr. Penn and French actress Jeanne Balibar quickly following suit.

Well, Iranians and the French certainly do love their smoking. How appropriate.
It’s SO weird how he and Robert Deniro favor, and it’s really weirder because they shared the same birthday.
Is he still cheating and beating his wife or is it now tres chic.
Smoking is disgusting, and I couldn´t care less that Sean Penn does it. Okay, rant over
the man is a disgusting human being, yucking it up with dictators while their people go hungry and with a government controlled media and no freedom at all, does anybody see the irony ?
Proud to say we have never wasted our hard earned money on that america hater.
he needs plastic surgery. yuck i don’t wanna look at ugly people in movies. he’s not even that great at acting.
He’s always been an ugly and violent little man.
