TEAM HOWARD OR TEAM DOLLY?

Dolly Parton sent out a statement today saying how mad and sad she is about Howard Stern’s recent radio stunt.
Last week on his show, he manipulated recordings from one her audio books into seemingly racist and sexually graphic sound bites.
Says Dolly:
“I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. … If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it’s going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this.”
Did Howard cross the line? Or was he just being Howard?

People who think this is okay need to re-evaluate their standards. No amount of “chilling out” will make this okay, no matter how many times Stern has done this in the past. It’s disgusting, and certainly not funny.

holy shit. grow up. it obvious that its so fake. and the best part, is that when howard was interviewing william shatner today, he played the same type of clips, cut up from william shatners last book, and william started hysterically laughing. He even started to reply to howard’s questions in a “cut up” way, kinda taking a pause between breath, kind of mimicking the same quality as the ridiculous tape. I mean seriously, grow the fuck up. Dolly needs this publicity. Howard does not. She is begging for attention.
