It was a not so happy Mother’s Day for Kim Basinger.
The actress looked très serious as she took her daughter Ireland to the store on the day when ex-husband Alec Baldwin appears on 60 Minutes to talk about that infamous voicemail message.
“If you go through the things I have gone through with the media, like this thing with my daughter, there’s only one thing that comes to mind initially: That is how my daughter must have felt to have this played out in public,” he told 60 Minutes last night. “The second thing I realize is, you can pretty much bet all you own that I would never leave another voice mail message for my daughter that wasn’t just like something out of a Rodgers & Hammerstein score.”

Alec Baldwin is an asshole who STILL hasn’t taken responsibility for what he did. Oh, so NOW he’s worried about how his daughter felt when his words to her were released to the public? Gee, maybe he should have worried how he spoke to his daughter before that happened.
Face it–if he hadn’t been such a bastard and spoken to his daughter so hideously, there would have been no media shitstorm. He’s nothing but a fucktard who deserves a public shaming–not that it’s done any good, apparently.
Remember it was Kim or one of her representatives that leaked that message to the media. Both of them are equally as crazy. The loser in this whole mess is Ireland who has to grow up knowing she is the pawn in one of the ugliest child custody cases in Hollywood.
plus ireland has to deal with the violence in the marriage when they were still married. But he goes for a puff piece softball interview on 60 minutes because he wants to run for governor of New York, gimme a break.
