A BUSH GETS HITCHED

“We’re mighty blessed,” George Bush said after daughter Jenna’s “spectacular” weekend wedding.

The more than 200 attendees were entertained by the Tyrone Smith Revue, a 10-piece party band from Nashville.

Jenna and hubby Henry Hager wanted privacy so they didn’t invite reporters or allow television cameras to film the nuptials, which are now part of presidential history.

The new bride was a vision in a silk organza Oscar de la Renta gown.

What a moronic statement since he has hired more minorities to higher levels of government than any other president.

she is s spitting image of her father, but her twin sister looks more like laura. the dress is beautiful and i’m glad that she didn’t over-do her hair, and the veil wasn’t necessary, either.

I think she’s a mixture of both. When I see her w/ GW I think she just like him; when I see her w/her mom I think she looks just like her.

I can understand wanting a simple, private wedding, but I don’t know how she gave up the chance for an historic White House wedding. It’s not every day a girl can be married in the White House, and become a footnote in history.

^True, although I read that she wanted to pick a place that she could always return to, to reminisce. The White House is temporal (especially come January). The dress is gorgeous.

I don’t think she’s a very beautiful girl but she looks really classy and elegant here. Love the dress, absolutely gorgeous and the setting for the ceremony looks beautiful. The cross and the flowers…very nice. People need to just lay off Bush sometimes, I’m not supporter but it just gets old hearing people put the same person down all the time.
