It should also be interesting viewing on ‘The View’ today since Rosie O’Donnell quit on Friday.
She has posted a long video about how things all unraveled on the show; how she tried to be friends with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, but it didn’t work; about how she felt like a foster kid that didn’t fit in; about the split screen on that final day really bugging her, about not saying goodbye on the show.
The highlight of the clip, however? Watching Ro sneeze directly into her shirt.

Sneezing into her shirt? What a classy lady.
I don’t particularly understand why she is so peeved about the split screen. I mean, she brought the subject up on live t.v. herself. The show is all about different views and for them to cut to commercial would have meant that the argument should have been censored. If she didn’t want it to be public then why bring it up in the first place. I just think she was taken back at the fact that Elizabeth wasn’t going to STFU and apologize. I have seen arguments with more ignorance and less class get air play so what makes this different.
She just always seems to have a chip on her shoulder. Personally, my wife got me watching The View when Rosie came on and I really enjoyed her, she always had something to say, I can’t imagine it being near as entertaining without her.
.
One question: why does Rosie have a writer? If you’re supposed to bring your OWN view to the show and her comedic comments seemed so off the cuff, why the need for a writer?
.
One point: The View makeup people should win an emmy. She looked great on the show, would it have killed her to put on a little something for this video?
Did you watch The View today? Sad sad sad. Barbara even asked the panel (Whoopi G., Joy & Elizabeth) if girl on girl turned them on (Whoopi didn’t answer either way). Its going to be a freak show now trying to get the ratings Rosie brought them.
PS What I’ll miss about Rosie is all the Broadway stuff she helped get on the show.
Barks… most people in the business have writers- you’d be surprised. I think it’s mainly a list of talking points or lines available to her if she ever feels the need to use them (i.e., change of topic).
Rosie just wanted to get out of having to finish with The View so she could chase her ass over to Europe to see every single damned concert Barbra Streisand does this summer!
Rosie is hilarious and intelligent she just needs to work on the delivery of her view. She is really passionte and it gets the best of her. I am glad she left because now that show will slide down the drain and be gone within a year and EH will be out of a job. I can’t friggin stand her.
I just think Rosie seems so angry at everyone. I agree with Barks. She has a major chip on her shoulder.
I just find her really disgusting. I will definately not miss her on the show, the View actually became a chore to watch when she was on it and just way to controversial for my lunch time viewing
I think Rosie needs to quit whinging and whining and picking apart everything about the argument and just move on.
hey
to all you childish, jeolous, and .small minded people GET A GRIP. Rosie is a fat slob, who is angry at the world, and her mouth is just plain trash. What is clear here, is what happens, when someone like ROSIE POSIE, who looks like a fat slob, and looks like hasn’t showered in a year, can,t stand the fact that someone like Liz, has it all. To all of you who think Rosie, is such a hot fagget, you must be, quite a site yourselves. where has the morals, of this country gone to? I guess, it died with Ronald Regan.
