Jessica Simpson was all smiles yesterday as she rehearsed for the big America United: in Support of Our Troops concert in North Carolina.
A host of celebrities stepped out last night for the USO Event at Camp Pendleton. Joining headliner Simpson were Janet Jackson, Jordin Sparks, Ne-Yo, Clint Black, Joe Nichols, Blind Melon, Snoop Dogg and ZZ Top. Toby Keith, meanwhile, performed from Iraq and country “it” girl Taylor Swift did her thing at Ft. Benning.
The three shows, which combine to form America United: In Support of our Troops, will air as a two-hour primetime special on NBC from 7-9 pm on June 1.

I think she looks really good, like the old Jess back in the Newlyweds days! She seems to be so much happier now which is good to see. What’s wrong with her performing for the troops!? Gee, some people are just tough critics^^. Seriously, at least she’s doing SOMETHING.

She has a great voice, her country album will revive her career, good choice. Btw the troops are grateful that anybody cares about them. Takes a special kind of person to serve our country.
Jessica murdered the National Anthem. She can’t sing, she just warbles. Her version of it is disgusts me. I think she should just get a job and forget about music industry. There are other artists who would sing “God Bless America” the way it was originally composed and meant to be sung.
